We carefully handcraft our products in small batches using a variety of the finest oils, butters, botanicals and organic ingredients, wildcrafted and sustainably harvested from all over the world. Here are some of the natural ingredients we use.
Aloe Vera, which has been used for centuries, has powerful antioxidants, including Vitamins A, B, C and E. It is well known for its beneficial moisturizing and skin soothing properties.
Apricot Kernel Oil is a light fast absorbing oil cold pressed from apricot seeds. It is rich in Vitamin A and E, and essential fatty acids to leave skin silky soft. Helps maintains moisture balance, and great for sensitive, dry, delicate, mature or damaged skin.
Cocoa Butter is the solid fat extracted from roasted cacao seeds, aka cocoa beans. Containing a high amount of minerals and antioxidant Vitamin E makes it the ultimate moisturizer that softens and nourishes the skin. It’s highly protective, acting as a barrier between skin and the environment.
Evening Primrose Oil is an exceptionally nourishing oil because it contains a high concentration of a fatty acid called GLA that is largely responsible for its remarkable properties. It is a heavier, slower absorbing oil and excellent for dry skin, mature and especially sensitive skin. Helps increase smoothness, elasticity and leaves a moisturizing barrier on the skin.
Green Tea Extract comes from the leaves of the plant which are dried, cured and extracted. It’s loaded with antioxidants that neutralize free radicals before they can damage and prematurely age skin. Green tea has 20 times the antioxidant properties of Vitamin E. It suppresses inflammation, reduces irritation and redness. It has been used traditionally in Asia and India for centuries.
Goat Milk has amazing benefits for your skin. It can reduce skin inflammation, and sooth dry and damaged skin. Goat milk has alpha-hydroxy acids that help soften skin, and it’s loaded with nutrients and vitamins like vitamin C, B1, B6, B12 and E.
Jojoba Oil is cold pressed from the nuts of the jojoba tree and is actually a liquid wax. It closely resembles our skin’s natural oil sebum, and help the skin retain it’s moisture. It absorbs quickly and is perfect for any skin type, dry or oily. It is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidant Vitamin E which improve skin elasticity and suppleness.
Kokum Butter is a hard butter, very similar to cocoa butter and is cold pressed from the fruit of the kokum tree (wild mangosten or red mangosten tree). It’s high in antioxidant Vitamin E and fatty acids. With very emollient, nourishing and wonderful skin benefits, it’s ideal for very dry and cracked skin.
Olive Oil is obtained by pressing the fruit of the olive tree. It is rich in protein, minerals and antioxidant vitamins, and has excellent penetrating power. Olive oil is a gentle, nourishing oil with fantastic moisturizing properties. It will soften and improve skin tone, is great for sensitive skin.
Mango Butter is a light butter that is cold-pressed from the seeds of the fruit, and rich in many nutrients and antioxidants including Vitamin A and C. It is ultra-moisturizing, and quickly absorbed by the skin, leaving a smooth, soft and silky finish.
Shea Butter is an emollient butter from the nut of the African Karite tree and has been used for centuries for its skin protectant properties. It has great skin penetrating properties, and nourishes the skin with Vitamin A, E and F. It is extremely therapeutic, helping soften cracked, rough and damaged skin, leaving it feeling soft and smooth. It is slower to absorb so works as a skin protector.
Silk comes from fibers secreted by silk worms, from their abandoned cocoons. These cocoons are treated to create a liquid that contains a potent blend of amino acids. Silk proteins smooth the skin, temporarily filling fine lines and wrinkles, and add a silky softness to soaps, lotions, and creams.
Sunflower Oil is rich in essential fatty acids and loaded with Vitamin A, D and E. It’s deeply nourishing and conditioning for the skin, has excellent penetrating qualities that will help regenerate dry, delicate skin.
Sweet Almond Oil is cold pressed from almond kernels and is rich in many nutrients and antioxidants including Vitamins A, B and E. It is very emollient, with wonderful skin nourishing benefits, and is easily absorbed by the skin, making it a great moisturizer for all skin types. It’s best known for its ability to soften, soothe and re-condition the skin.
Vitamin E (Tocopherol) is an antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals before they can damage and prematurely age skin. It is an excellent moisturizer, helping the skin feel softer and smoother, reduce roughness, cracking and irritation. May possibly retard the fine wrinkles from aging and is also helpful in reducing scars.
